All half moons are made from Grade 1 hard twisted Vycome coir yarns. The yarns are spun from 100% natural coconut coir fibre which has not been chemically treated, dyed or bleached. The mats are manually woven on traditional wooden looms in a reversible weave. This is a very sustainable product and eco-friendly. This means the weave appearance is the same on both sides. There is no latex backing and no central hole. The meeting face of the half moons has a woven finish and the circumference edge is hemmed with a natural colour cotton hemming, double machine stitched.
